Is Santa Run Texas a fundraiser?
Yes! 100% of the funds raised from Santa Run Texas go towards helping us serve our HIPsters (Hugely Important People) at My Possibilities. We organize this event ourselves (thanks to many of Santa’s helpers). My Possibilities is a full day, full year continuing education program in Collin County for adults in North Texas with cognitive disabilities who have “aged out” of secondary education. To learn more about how My Possibilities is changing lives everyday, please visit www.MyPossibilities.org!
How do I sign-up?
Please register online here at www.SantaRunTexas.org by December 9 at 11:59pm. If after, registration is available at the event location. Pre-event registration is suggested and preferred.
Can I form a team?
YES! Teams are encouraged. During the registration process, either create a team and share it with friends, family and co-workers, or select an existing team to join. Feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org for additional questions.
How much does it cost to participate in the Santa Run Texas?
Event Registration depends on a sliding scale traveling upwards as the event gets closer. CLICK HERE to see the latest price!
Are children free under a certain age?
You do not need to register your child if they are younger than 5 years old, but please be advised this means that they will not be given a 5-piece Santa suit.
Where and when can I donate my toy for “Toys for Tots”?
Toys will be collected at Luke’s Locker in Plano during packet pick up (schedule is below), as well as the day of Santa Run Texas – December 10, 2016. Please bring your toy (big or small) with you and help us load a Truck of Toys for Toys for Tots!
Do I have to buy a Santa Suit separately?
No! Registration includes a 5-piece Santa Suit, race bib and promotional goodies. Suits are available in adult and children sizes.
Are the Santa Suits available in children sizes?
Yes! We do have children sizes for the Santa Suits.
Where/when will I pick up my Santa Suit?
Santa suits and event packets can be picked up at Luke’s Locker at The Shops at Legacy in Plano the week before the race. The Luke’s Locker address is 5717 Legacy Drive, #180, Plano, Texas 75024.
Wednesday, December 7th through Friday, December 9th: 10:00am – 6:30pm.
Santa Suits and event packets will also be available the morning of the event. However, pre-event pick up is highly suggested in order to avoid the lines.
Can someone else pick up my race packet for me?
Yes! They are welcome to pick up your packet for you. They will need a copy of your confirmation email in order to pick it up.
How do I register a child 3 and under if they are free?
Great question! Kids 3 and under do not need to be officially registered through our registration site. Simply print a copy of the event waiver and have it signed by a parent or legal guardian. Present at packet-pickup. Please note they will not receive a bib or other Santa Run fun stuff unless an additional registration is purchased.
Can I bring my stroller?
YES! Decorate the stroller in festive decor. For safety reasons, participants with strollers will be requested allow others to start ahead of them. A prize for the best decorated “sleigh” will be awarded.
I registered for Santa Run Texas, but now I can’t participate. Can I receive a refund?
Since this is a charity event, we cannot issue a refund. If you can’t make it to the run, you can still pick up your packet and Santa costume.
When is the last day I can register?
You can register on the day at the event, however, registration on event day will be more expensive. Early registration is encouraged.
What if I registered to run, but now I would rather walk (or vice versa)?
